Alfred Mtweve is a young man who was raised by TOUCO at Familia Upendo Yerusalem in Mafinga. Through the care, guidance, and support he received there, Alfred has grown in faith, character, and purpose. He is now a prospective seminarian, discerning a vocation to the Catholic priesthood.
Alfred feels a deep calling to become a priest as a way of giving thanks to God for the many blessings he has received throughout his life. He believes that God has worked through the people and community who supported him, shaping his journey and inspiring him to serve others in return.
Along his path, Alfred was especially influenced by Fr. Bruno, from whom he learned the values of kindness, love, humility, and service. These lessons have left a lasting impression on him and continue to guide his desire to dedicate his life to God and to the Church. With faith, gratitude, and determination, Alfred looks forward to continuing his formation and one day serving others as a Catholic priest.
